I've never really had a full blown discussion with guy I'm dating about politics. BUT I am sorta-kinda-something with a boy in the navy... so politics came up tonight.
.....and I liked it!
I never appreciated how refreshing it is to have a stimulating conversation about things that are important. Especially with everything going on right now. My boy is smart, opinionated with a very good (and cute!) head on his shoulders.
I support men with good ideas who want to serve their community.

Life is grand!
So on Monday I started a new job!
I always knew I could make ends meet, with or without a college degree. I've done pretty well so far with that belief. Fun jobs, enough money to do a lot of the things I've always wanted to do, random adventures, tons of fun, the best memories... but not much to show for.
When I was in school, I did take a bunch of art classes. I learned to cast, learned to solder, learned basic jewelry trades.
Never did I imagine on those carefree, fun days in class with the girls that I could get PAID to do all of that fun shit... and here I am!
My job is production assistant to this jewelry company. I am going to be trained to do laser soldering, hopefully learning to set diamonds. I've been playing with all of the toys in the studio and it just makes me giddy out of my MIND! :) Finally a job that will go far and really makes me happy. The company is great and there's a lot of room to grow. My first project was $20k necklace dripping in diamonds! Insane... totally. But I love this! It's going to be great...
LOTS of great things ahead, I feel it, I know it, I love it. It always pays off to be positive! SEE! :)

Just a quarter life crisis...
So here I go again. Broke and square one... but currently hating the status of life.
Always I've dreamed of Hollywood. Glitz, glam, music, travel... etc.
But do I need to WORK in the industry for these perks? I've managed to acquire them without for so long... maybe I don't need to be here anymore.
I have so much to decide in my life right now.

TRV$/AM
I love my LA clubs. I love to dance. I grew up injecting Blink 182 into my veins... and I adore Travis and AM.
Saturday was my best friend's wedding and it was a tense and tragic day. I hate to say that celebrity lives impact me so much but they do often play huge roles in my life. Especially seeing how close I am tied into the industry.
God bless these men and I pray for their lost loved ones... so sad. :( It's a horrible thing to think about... a miracle they are both alive.

Emerald City here I come!
I cannot wait! :) I'm off to see one of my oldest girls get married!! I am soo excited I cannot tell you... Two days in the city, two days of wedding bliss in Snohomish :) and then back to Seattle before I head back to LA on Monday. I can't wait to see the Space Needle, EMP and the Market!
