My birthday is in a MONTH! WOW I'm getting old. I can't believe it. Time flies. So I'm digging up cool stuff and here's a few of my favorite things I just got, am being inspired by and buying... eeeks!

I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN! It's been a crazy couple of weeks. Felt disconnected from the universe but also liberated. Life's been really crazy, busy, stressful. It's been lots of fun too but it's mostly work week=overwhelming and weekend=ridiculous fun. I've had no time to catch up. NEED SLEEP.

Thanksgiving....made an amazing sweet potato ap that is SO EASY to substitute

&is soo delish. Also a pic of me & the 2 eldest gals on my dad's side, Diana &Jessica. 

went to a holiday party at a spa my mom&sis go to...we all got free massages, Lisa got a facial &I

got a fancy-shmancy treatment I will not blog about ;) Also, Lise, her bff & I celebrating her bday.

went to a rockin' christmas party w/my gals w/some special peeps...

FINALLY saw Edward Sharpe & the magnetic zeros...sooooo good live.

also saw Florence & The Black Keys (@kroq almost acoustic christmas) thanks to my sis :)

got to hang backstage, met Jim Halpert my dream bf & got a pic with the Black Keys guys (!!!)

Last note, stopped by the mall with Dad & Lisa and Old Navy's got some deals going on! Got some long sleeved tops since my wardrobe is seriously lacking in anything warm. (most of it is still in the NJ apt) these tops were cute and only $8 instore! They don't have the cute colors or special online. Although, I am glad I looked because my sister and I both want this techno hoodie and it's only $15 online! The hoodie cord is IPOD HEADPHONES! Love it, although, of course, the color I want is not online. Oh life!

I can't believe it. A week til Christmas & two weeks til this crazy year is over. It's been a huge year. I am still reeling from everything that's happened, good and bad. The last few weeks have been rough for me because I'm so tired but I do appreciate that that's a good thing. 

Mini panic, I can't figure out what to do for New Years. I really want to go to Arizona to see RX Bandits, but I know I won't be able to talk my girlfriends into it. Is it worth it??? Maybe!

HELP!

The summer concert series has officially begun! I swear, my Tuesday 10 Things will be a full summer low down. I've been so busy at work! But I have 2 days to get a fab outfit for Monday night's Kings of Leon show at the Hollywood Bowl. Melissa and I raced down to San Diego after work last night for the show and it was soooo worth it. They are amazing and the new stuff is great! I can't wait to see them at home with my gals. So ladies, I need your help. A B or C? C seem more appropriate for a rock show, yet A look more comfortable and like I'd give them more use. Get in your vote ASAP!

I went to the mall yesterday and stumbled upon the new Ray Ban frames... holy cow I am in love! I have been wanting to buy a black pair of wayfarers and I'm glad I had to wait so long... I'm going to scoop these puppies up sooon!

I also saw another pair that looked really good on me... but do I need 3 pairs of designer sunnies? They were marked down to $40! If I go back next week and they're still there... it's meant to be so we'll leave it to fate.

I am also lusting over summer travel... I am used to bouncing back and forth from coast to coast so being in one side for so long has me feeling cabin fever! Isn't that weird? So I am looking at tour dates, flights.... etc. I'll leave that list for my Tuesday 10 things. ;)


Tonight I am going to see Matt Embree's Love You Moon at the El Rey. The show is on Tuesday :D LOL! ooops! I can't wait. He's amazing and oh-so sexy! I love his voice and his stage swagger. I am excited. Must charge my camera.

Last, I am super, madly crazy in lust with Gaga! LOVELOVELOVE her... love her style, love her brain, love her moves. I can't stop watching the Alejandro video. Frugal Fest

Today was so fun! Thanks to the girls at Swapaholics. I'll post more pics and a review tomorrow when I get my pics uploaded from the event and snap pics of some of my favorite finds. I had so much fun and it is such a great idea!

On Saturday I *helped my family in their Relay For Life. Unfortunately, my shoes decided to hate on me and give me a blister so I only walked a few laps (BOOO!) but I did donate $50 in the form of a silent auction... and I got...

A 2 HOUR MASSAGE!

I am really really excited. I never really splurge on anything and although Eric is great and can give a near professional massage he lives in MD and he is not always very generous on massages. So I can't wait, I want to book this ASAP! :)

Today I picked up some great finds and perhaps I will show them off soon :)

Guess where? ;) I even bumped into a new 90210 starlet. I remember years back I bumped into Mischa Barton in the same store! Anyway, four days of work to go then I am off for a glorious TEN DAYS while our production office is closed for our summer holiday. Friday I am getting up bright and early and heading up to NorCal to visit my best gal Hol :) I cannot wait to see her! It has been an embarrassingly long time since we've spent any quality time together. Probably March 2006! Super excited to see her new HOUSE!
